Jeff Olson
Jeff has over 20 years experience as a senior sales executive in large enterprise environments and has also scaled several startups to successful acquisitions. A sought-after advisor, he has a deep understanding of business development, marketing and sales processes in infrastructure, cloud, storage, and Open Source businesses.
Previously Jeff was VP of Sales with Firefly, where they helped large organizations take their products to market; VP of Sales at GreenButton, a PaaS solution that was acquired by Microsoft and incorporated in Windows Azure; and Sr. Director of Sales at Gluster, where after generating phenomenal growth in the software storage market was acquired by Red Hat.
Jeff was also asked to join the OpenStack Foundation’s JTAC Committee and today advises a number of Silicon Valley startups. He is currently on the Advisory Board of Iron.io, a microservices architecture delivered via Docker containers for large data set job processing.
